Zuckerberg: WhatsApp can connect up to 3 billion people

Facebook co-founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg revised objectives placed before WhatsApp. Having recently he said that the service should aim to reach 1 billion users, now he wants at least two times the number. 

"I think WhatsApp will become the largest global platform for text messaging," said Zuckerberg at an event in Mexico City. "I think we have the opportunity to connect 2-3 billion people in it."
