Apple took a prominent designer who will work on iWatch

World famous Australian designer Marc Newson has to work for Apple, confirmed the American company. 

Newson is known for its watch company Ikepod, and a futuristic design language aimed at expensive fashion concepts. 

In his new Australian talent will assume the role of senior vice president of design and will work very closely with Jonathan Ive, who led the design of Apple. 




Attracting Marc Newson comes at a time when Apple is preparing to launch its smart watch called iWatch. The designer is another prominent person in the fashion world, the company hired. Other experts in the field who are now part of the company's former CEO of Burberry Angela Arendts, former head of Yves Saint Laurent Paul Deneuve and Ben Schaffer from Nike. 

Newson Ikepod founded in 1994 and one of his most famous works is the Lockheed Lounge - aluminum chair literally built with his bare hands in 1986 In 2006 one of these chairs sold at auction for a record sum of 1.6 million dollars. At the time it was the highest price paid for the work of contemporary designer alive.
